Uniforms
For the 2010 – 2011 season, BYS has decided to put the purchase and ownership of the team uniforms in the hands of the parents and players BYS will no longer disperse and collect uniforms. The plan is to keep a particular set of uniforms on a three year replacement cycle. That is, no change will be made to the home or away kit for three years.
To keep the costs down, BYS will use the Navy uniforms (Navy top, navy shorts, navy socks) from last season as the Away kits. These kits will be handed out to players at the beginning of the season. These will then become the possession of that player. The Away kits will be replaced in the 2011 – 2012 season.
Players will need to purchase their own Home kits this season (2010 – 2011). The kits are available on the BYS website (see Uniforms). Players will order a white jersey, a pair of white shorts and a least one pair of white socks. Two pairs of socks are recommended. Be sure to use the discount code to take advantage of BYS pricing.
